Hello! Welcome to my blog. Today, I will discuss why you should choose me as your next associate brand manager.

As a master of science in marketing student, graduating in Spring 2024 at Clark University, I have a strong background in marketing, having studied various marketing courses such as digital and social media marketing, branding strategies, and sustainable marketing. I also have my bachelor of arts in management degree, which I obtained in Spring 2023 from Clark University. I have been fortunate to apply these concepts within projects like branding and sustainability audits, and I am leveraging these skills while working for Clark Athletics as their graduate assistant.

This school year, from August 2023 through May 2024, I had the opportunity to have hands-on experience working within the sports marketing and communications realm as the graduate assistant to the Clark Athletics communications director at Clark University. This role requires several branding, marketing, and communications skills, including but not limited to creativity, leadership, social media, detail-oriented, branding, collaboration, consumer targeting, and teamwork. Some of the responsibilities I have in this role are Inside the Den, a newsletter sent by email to faculty weekly that summarizes and highlights aspects of each game, match, meet, or regalia played by the Cougars the previous week, Feature Friday, a press release article published weekly on the Clark Athletics website spotlighting a student-athlete in their endeavors, interviewing athletes for spotlights, curating digital content for the official website and social media accounts, public address announcer during contests, managing the media table during games, updating the website for search engine optimization, and more.

While working as a graduate assistant, I foster and create loyalty, increase social media engagement, develop strong brand awareness and positive brand perception, and broaden consumer reach with the branding of Clark Athletics. One instance of fostering positive brand perception and awareness is through the Feature Friday articles. I have curated specific questions I ask the student-athletes, such as "Why Clark?" and "What is your favorite part of being on a Clark team?". These questions are crucial as they show how each athlete feels about the brand and how important Clark is to them, creating brand loyalty for readers and increasing brand awareness by targeting prospective student-athletes and students.

Before entering this role, I balanced academics, lacrosse, and my personal life as I played on the Clark women's lacrosse team for the Cougars for all four years of my undergraduate degree. During this time, I built many lasting friendships, learned the importance of putting the team first, and how to remain disciplined to achieve collective goals.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog and hope you will resonate with my experiences. If you have any questions or want to get to know me further, contact me using my contact information below.
